The Ardens LTC process has always supported this kind of workflow.  If the majority of data gathering is done along with the blood test, the specialist nurse doing the review can perform a notes review and then ring the patient to discuss. So there’s not a big difference in what the templates need to do to achieve a remote review but is more the case the Practice process needs to adapt a little.

Practices may find it useful to have a call/screen share with one of our Product Specialists to discuss what the practice would like to achieve. The Product Specialist can then show the practice how the templates and reports can support that workflow. Practices can request either the full 2 hour web session for LTC reviews or if this has already been used there is the option of a shorter session to discuss particulars. A 45 minute webinar could be offered for this which can be booked here > training-sessions

1. All LTC Patients

It is our understanding that all patients should be offered a remote review, where possible, at the moment.

Certain patient groups can be excluded from invitation reports by following these instructions here > excluding-particular-conditions-from-the-ltc-review-system

There are some additions to the LTC review template to allow practices to code where management has been limited due to COVID-19 and the type of encounter such as video.

The LTC template can be used as usual to record everything possible (dependent on the type of encounter). Once face to face appointments have resumed there are some reports that will help identify any patients that have been coded as having had their review and management has been limited due to COVID-19 so that you could review these records to see what elements of their care are outstanding.

The 'Pre-Assessment Questionnaire' page has a drop down to record that a questionnaire has been given to the patient or completed.  You can see what questionnaires have already been completed and has links to open or print a new one.

2. Access to SystmOnline Questionnaires

A set of questionnaires have been published that can be used in SystmOnline, please see this support article that explains how to access these > online-questionnaires

To help you target certain groups of patients we have three reports as below;

3. Missed income Reports

If you wish to target patients based on missed income  please see these reports;
