You can open the telephone consultation by using the icon above the patient's name.
Assessment
Triage - tick to record this is a triage
Consultation button - direct access to respiratory, dermatology etc including prescriptions and leaflets
Ambulance triage - has the patient been triaged by the ambulance service
Telephone Follow-up - tick to mark this as a follow up
Video Conference/Skype - record a skype consultation. The button will open up skype on the login page
3rd party - if you're speaking with a family member / carer of the patient, record their name here
Problem - what is the issues and what is the patient's request
Vitals & Lifestyle - to see the history of previous readings (e.g. click the mouse into the BP box and look in the yellow panel on the right-hand side to see the historic recordings)
Scores / diaries - will open all of the scored assessments and patient diaries that we have available. These can be printed out and left at reception for the patient to collect
Investigations - all of these buttons will open up previous results and give access to ICE/SunQuest electronic pathology requesting
Impression
You can record your impression either by read code or free text
Management
Plan - write the plan going forward
Advice - tick to record advice given. Use the pencil icon to write the advice given.
Leaflets & Med3 - print, text or email leaflets, print a med3 or generate letters
Formulary - access the main formularies including paediatric medicine
Criteria - referral criteria and future care planning
Safeguarding - record if any safeguarding details have been identified
Follow-up - arrange a follow up. Use the follow-up template or book an appointment or home visit
Failed Encounter
Read code the failed encounter or type in the message that you left the patient. Use the preset button to select from helpful preset options
Don't forget to ok the template and save the record when finished.
