To save this template as a favourite add to F12 favourites for quick access.
For convenience this template is also embedded within other relevant Ardens templates such as Wound Management, Peripheral Arterial Disease and Compression Hosiery.
Yellow Star - Local enhanced services requirement (if applicable in your area). Tick to record Doppler Studies.
The top half of the template is for Left ankle and the 2nd half of the template is for Right ankle which is labelled to the left side of the template.
Clicking in to any of these fields for Brachial Pressure, Digital Doppler, ABPI and Capillary Refill will display any historical data in the yellow pane on the right side of the template. Enter new values by typing in to the box manually.
There are also drop down fields to select if pulses present/absent/abnormal.
These are repeated for the right ankle in the 2nd half of the template.
On the right side of the template you can record Blood Pressure, Heart Rate & Pulse. Again these fields will show historical data in the yellow pane to the right of the template. There are also codes to record any amputations.
Unfortunately SystmOne is unable to calculate ABPI but will show the calculation and there is a link to the Windows calculator for convenience.
Just below are links to the Possible PAD - ABPI Interpretation template and Compression Hosiery Formulary.
Bottom right you'll find the Follow-Up template which will show any current booked appointments/visits, outstanding Tasks & any Recalls.
If needing to book a further appointment there is a link to the Appointment Ledger, Creating a Task, adding a new Recall etc.
Reports
There are reports to identify patients who've had a doppler done or where a doppler has not been done for patients that have a Venous leg ulcer.
Go to Clinical Reporting > select the Ardens Ltd folder > Contracts | 2022 23 (or CFY) | Local Contracts > Annual All > 2022-23 | ABPI: ABPI Doppler Done
