There are occasions when there is a requirement to amend a read code and rather than doing this individually in each patient record SystmOne allows you to do a bulk read code replacement. 

This can be found under 'Setup > Bulk Operations > Read Code Replacement'. 

Step 1

Enter the read code to be replaced and click continue. 

Step 2 

You will then see a list of patients that have that code in their record. 

Step 3

On this screen you can select to either replace the code or to remove it without a replacement and you can specify the summary status. 

Step 4

Once you have confirmed the replacement it will be scheduled to run overnight. Once it has run a task is generated to inform you that it has been successful.
