There are occasions when a patient is not fully register or has no health authority recorded. This will very occasionally  but when it does it can cause issues when trying to open the 'Communications' templates. 

How to check the Health Authority 

In SystmOne, with the patient record retrieved, go to 'Patient > Patient Maintenance > Patient Care (IOS)' and you should see the Health Authority listed. 

How to edit the Health Authority 

If there is no Health Authority showing in the window above or it is wrong, you can click on the 'magnifier glass' button to the left of the window and search for the correct authority (this will be very rare).
